FAQs
Some answers to your questions about the Stylyx bicycle
Seat Only
Q : Can I use the Stylyx bikeseat separately?
A : Unfortunately not. The only way to achieve total comfort and easier pedaling is by having a
complete combination of ; a seat that provides healthy, anatomically-correct support,
frame geometry that positions the rider in an energy-efficient pedaling position,
finely-tuned adjustment of the riding position to suit each individual rider's personal physique. A seat alone can't provide this combination.
Riding up slopes and hills
Q : Can I ride up slopes and hills on the Stylyx?
A : Yes. Using low gear, pull-back leverage from the handlebars and Stylyx's energy-efficient pedaling position, you can ride up slopes and small hills with ease, whilst remaining seated.
As with all bicycles, you will find it more difficult to ride up extreme hills.
Which gears?
Q : How do I know if I need 3-speed or 5-speed gears?
A : If you are riding on quite flat terrain and you are reasonably fit, you will only need 3-speed gears, but if you have some slopes to climb or feel you need
the assistance that lower gears can bring, you should use the 5-speed.
Correct positioning
Q : How do I make sure I am perfectly positioned?
A : During your first few rides, adjust the seat and handlebars slightly back or forward, until you find;
your 'sit-bones' are positioned at the at the very front of the seat whilst your knees remain just slightly bent at the fullest pedaling stroke,
your arms remain just slightly bent when reaching for the handlebars.
IMPORTANT: Remember to always have the seat level to the ground, not tilted up or down.
